Lecture Qualification of Dr. Abdou Ahmed

The Faculté des Sciences of the University Paris Sud has habilitated Dr. Marwan Abdou Ahmed with the French lecture qualification „habilitation a diriger des recherches” in physics. The habilitation treatise of Dr. Abdou Ahmed entitled „Rôle des guides d´ondes micro-structurés dans les lasers de puissance” deals with beam shaping of high-power lasers by means of resonant grating-waveguide structures. The defense was held on 30 May 2012 at the Institut d´Optique in Palaiseau.
