The day of science is the "open day" at the University of Stuttgart. On Saturday, 25 June 2022 from 1 to 7 p.m., many institutes will once again open their laboratory doors and show exhibits and experiments to touch and participate in. The Institut für Strahlwerkzeuge (IFSW) will also be open this year and will show lasers live in action.
At the IFSW, you can expect a demonstration on laser cutting. An industrial laser processing system will be shown. Visitors can experience the laser cutting process live and then touch the result and take it home. There is also a lot to learn about the institute itself.
