Day of Science on 30 June 2018

On Saturday, 30 June 2018, the Day of Science will take place at the University of Stuttgart, who will open its laboratory doors again. The motto is "The future of work". Also this year more than 120 institutes and facilities of the University of Stuttgart, including the Institut für Strahlwerkzeuge (IFSW), will present themselves.

A demonstration of laser beam cutting awaits you at the IFSW. An industrial laser processing system will be shown. Visitors can experience the laser cutting process live and then touch the result and take it home with them. There is also a lot to learn about the institute itself.
