Successful project meeting of the process development department of the IFSW at Novelis

The IFSW presented its promising project results in the context of its research on the formation of hot cracks that can occur during through-welding of aluminum alloys. On the occasion of this presentation, apl. Prof. Dr. Rudolf Weber, Dr. Christian Hagenlocher, Felix Zaiß and Jonas Wagner traveled to Novelis in Sierre, Switzerland on 10 January 2023. The company is one of the world's leading aluminum suppliers. The group photo was taken during the plant tour there.
