As the scientific aspects take the centre of the exchange of experiences, the SLT are seen as a professional training opportunity by many of the attendees. With the positive experience of the past years this scientific aspect will therefore be further accentuated in 2024.
The SLT are organized by the Institut für Strahlwerkzeuge (IFSW) of the University of Stuttgart. The IFSW follows a holistic research approach ranging from the laser sources to their applications in manufacturing processes.
