In the Laser Colloquium the scientists of the IFSW present their current research results and discuss the present scientific issues in the field of laser technologies.

In addition to the Laser Colloquium the IFSW Colloquium addresses more general scientific topics. For this colloquium predominantly external speakers are invited to the IFSW.

In conjunction with the international trade fair for system solutions in laser material processing ( LASYS) of the Messe Stuttgart GmbH the IFSW organizes the Stuttgart Laser Technologies Forum on a biannual cycle to present the latest research results and the corresponding transfer into industrial applications.
